Chanel, a dachshund mix was featured this morning in the Today Show. Chanel will be celebrating her 21st birthday. If she is human, she’d be 120. Chanel is named and has been certified as the oldest living pooch on the planet by Guinness World Records.
Chanel wears a “doggles” due to her cataracts. Chanel always wears sweater or tee because she gets cold easily. Also, Chanel wears booties to protect her limb and due to a benign tumor on one hind leg.
All in all, according to Chanel’s vet “he never seen a dog her age do so much.” Chanel has few physical issues that can be expected at an age that translates to 120 for a human.
