Keep them both safe on Halloween. Here are some ways you can protect your dog.
- Test, acclimate and prepare your dog for fun goolish costumes, door bells, and noise.
- Use a leash especially for excitable dogs, preventing them from running out to chase the fun goolish friends.
- Just in case, make sure your dog wears a collar with "identification."
- If you see that acclimating your dog becomes a challenge place your dog in a crate or quite safe area in your home with a favorite toy. Visit your dog and provide yummy treats from time to time.
- Keep halloween sweets out of paw reach. Chocolates are hazardous to your dog's health. Make sure to communicate with your family members so they understand candies/chocolates are harmful for your dogs.
